He began his professional journey as a freelancer, working with a wide range of clients across India and abroad, gaining invaluable experience in the design and animation industry. His expertise later led him to a pivotal role at Unacademy, one of India’s leading edtech platforms, where he worked as a Senior Designer and Video Editor for nearly five years. He then took on a leadership role as Design Head at Rankplus, further honing his skills in design management and creative direction.

However, even while working with some of the top companies, Adesh never lost sight of a deeper calling — to make design education accessible to all. “I had a dream to build something where I could teach learners at an affordable fee, so no one would have to give up on their dreams because of money,” he says. With this vision in mind, he made the bold decision to leave his full-time job and establish Kalakriti Academy, an initiative built on the principles of inclusivity, affordability, and skill-based learning.

The core problem that Kalakriti Academy addresses is one that countless students and parents face — the high cost of creative education. Design and animation courses often come with hefty price tags, pushing many talented individuals to abandon their ambitions. Adesh recognized this gap and created a platform that removes financial barriers while maintaining top-tier quality education. “Every parent wants their child to get the best education,” Adesh explains. “But they also have to consider their financial limits. My main aim is to create a space where they can focus solely on learning and growth without worrying about money.”

His advice to aspiring entrepreneurs comes from personal experience — a blend of courage and commitment. “If you are dreaming of building something, don’t look back — just start your journey and never think about what it costs,” Adesh shares. “Everything worthwhile takes time, effort, and sleepless nights, but that’s what makes your brand shine.”
