INC91 felicitates 30 achievers younger than 30 who have distinguished themselves as innovators and demonstrated leadership in their respective fields and business
India is among the most important start-up hubs in the world of today. It's not just location that has 75,000 recognized start-ups, but also recognizes the more than 80 companies every day which is the most rate around the globe. With 107 unicorns in the past and counting, the country is third overall in number of unicorns.
A majority of these unicorns have been able to make a profit within the last two years, indicating a thriving start-up ecosystem that is quickly growing and changing despite the winter of funding. Investors, not just from India but all over the globe are looking to make large investments into Indian start-ups. Technology is becoming a major part of our lives, clearly, entrepreneurs and start-ups in India will surely get all the praise.
The Initiative
INC91 30 Under 30 is a unique initiative which is known for recognizing the most innovative individuals in the younger generation. This annual contest, that is facilitated by INC91 plays a critical role in promoting disruption by young innovators to tackle issues for the masses. Through the development of new solutions to the most difficult problems, young innovators are changing the rules of business and the nature.
The Industries
The jury received hundreds of submissions from a variety of startups working in the traditional technology, and mobility and B2B pharma technology, Performance agency, the D2C marketplaces Ayurvedic brands, SaaS-based ventures Wearables and secure logistics rolling-ups, restaurants chains and more. The goal is to highlight the incredible progress made across different categories and sub-sectors.
Evaluation Process
The response was overwhelming. More than 500 submissions were received. In the end, the total was reduced to 87 following two screening rounds. The candidates who were selected were asked to make their case before the jury. The jury's deliberations in a closed room and discussion took place on the internet via a virtual platform. The efficiency of the system offered opportunities for growth and potential, the zeal and enthusiasm of the founders as well as the impact that has been created up to the present and, perhaps most important, the age limit of 30 years were some of the main criteria used by the judges to verify the quality of the solution that was selected to join the elite group in INC91 's 30-under-30 under 30.
The Winners
Thirty ambitious and young innovators have come into the spotlight after INC91 30 under 30 recognizes and rewards innovative ideas that are transforming the world and solving problems for the general public. In the 30 that are included 24 are entrepreneurs, and six intrapreneurs. INC91 did not leave the professional entrepreneurs who are making an enviable impact in their businesses.
