Building Farmoganic: Innovation With Integrity
From a one-man operation to a reliable cosmetic ingredient supplier for small and large brands alike.

Humble Beginnings Fueled by Determination
Niteshsingh Rajput grew up in a modest village where educational infrastructure was minimal, with formal schooling available only up to the 4th standard. But limitations never defined him. Determined to pursue his dreams, he walked nearly three kilometers every day to attend school in a nearby town and later moved to his Tehsil for higher secondary education. Eventually, he reached Amravati, where he completed a Bachelor’s degree in Technology, specializing in Cosmetics.
This educational journey was more than just academic. It was formative.
“Coming from a background where every step forward required extra effort, I developed a mindset that nothing is given—you earn it,” says Niteshsingh.
This resilience laid the foundation for the entrepreneurial path he would eventually take.
The Genesis of an Idea
After graduation, Niteshsingh entered the cosmetic industry, starting his career with a home care manufacturing company. Here, he deepened his understanding of raw materials, formulations, and production processes. As his experience grew, he worked across multiple areas in the sector, including hands-on product development and technical support roles.
But it was during these formative years that he began noticing a significant gap: the cosmetic raw material supply chain was broken.
“There was no fairness or transparency. Small brands were paying exorbitant prices for ingredients that were often just repackaged versions of standard materials,” Niteshsingh recalls.
He realized that India’s rapidly growing cosmetic and personal care industry was underserved when it came to accessible, high-performance, and affordably priced raw materials. This problem wasn’t just about cost—it affected product quality and innovation, especially for startups. That realization became the seed for something much larger.
Building Farmoganic: A Mission Beyond Sales
With this insight, Niteshsingh founded Farmoganic Health & Beauty, not just as a business venture, but as a challenge to the status quo in the cosmetic ingredient market. He envisioned a company that would make high-quality cosmetic raw materials accessible to everyone—from indie brands and research labs to large-scale manufacturers.
Farmoganic offers a broad portfolio, including:
- Botanical extracts
- Emollients and emulsifiers
- Peptides and surfactants
- Natural oils and butters
- Active ingredients and functional blends
But Farmoganic distinguishes itself in the way it offers these products.
“We don't just sell ingredients. We provide full technical documentation—COAs, MSDS, TDS—and real formulation support. That’s still rare in this market,” Niteshsingh explains.
Moreover, while most suppliers demand minimum orders of 25kg or more, Farmoganic provides starter quantities as low as 500g to 1kg, empowering small brands to experiment and launch their products without prohibitive entry costs.
“If a raw material doesn’t genuinely perform in a formulation, we won’t include it in our catalog—even if it has strong marketing buzz. That’s a principle we don’t compromise on.”
Tackling Structural Challenges as a Solo Founder
Starting Farmoganic was far from easy. With limited capital, no employees, and no formal office space, Niteshsingh ran all operations himself—from sourcing and packing to customer support and logistics. He did this while still maintaining a full-time job.
“It took a lot of sacrifice and long hours—but I believed in the mission.”
One of the biggest roadblocks was gaining trust. In a market saturated with “premium” and “imported” claims used to justify high prices, it was difficult to convince clients that honest pricing and high quality could go hand in hand.
Slowly, customer by customer, that changed. Startups and formulators who gave Farmoganic a chance were often surprised—delighted by the quality, documentation, and responsiveness. And as trust was built, word began to spread. Repeat business grew. And so did the vision.
Breaking Milestones One Step at a Time
A major milestone in Farmoganic’s journey came when the company moved operations from a rented home setup to a dedicated workspace with an in-house lab. This move greatly improved quality control, packaging efficiency, and enabled product expansion.
Another key moment was when Niteshsingh earned the trust of several emerging beauty brands that became long-term clients.
“Those first few repeat customers validated what Farmoganic stood for. They saw the value and told others,” he shares with pride.
The credibility gained through flawless execution, clean documentation, and technical partnership has remained the foundation of the company’s success.
A Vision for the Future: Innovation With Integrity
Looking ahead, Niteshsingh has an ambitious roadmap for Farmoganic. In the next five years, the startup aims to become India’s most trusted source for clean, science-based cosmetic ingredients, not just domestically but internationally as well.
Planned initiatives include:
- Expanding the ingredient catalog with innovative actives, sustainable cartridges, and upcycled botanicals
- Boosting R&D infrastructure to provide advanced formulation solutions and prototype development
- Strengthening digital access so that formulators across India—even in tier 2 and tier 3 cities—can easily buy in small quantities with full support
“We want to create an ecosystem that enables honest, innovative beauty brands to grow. Brands that focus on performance, not just packaging,” explains Niteshsingh.
And it’s not just about growth. It’s about values—transparency, accessibility, and supporting Indian innovation.
"We started with the belief that great cosmetics can come from anywhere—even small labs and new formulators. They just need the right ingredients and the right partner.”
Final Thoughts
Niteshsingh Rajput’s journey is a reminder that meaningful entrepreneurship doesn’t begin with a perfect setup; it begins with insight, values, and relentless execution. By founding Farmoganic Health & Beauty, he hasn’t just created a successful business—he’s challenging an entire industry to do better.
As India’s cosmetic sector continues to grow, entrepreneurs like Niteshsingh are proving that trust, transparency, and uncompromising integrity are more powerful than any marketing claim. And in doing so, they’re laying the foundation for a cleaner, fairer, and more performance-driven beauty industry.
