Practicing yoga on a regular basis not only improves the quality of your sleep, but it also gives you more physical and mental vitality. A rise in the number of people interested in yoga can be attributed to the proliferation of yoga studios across India; this is due to the fact that the practise of yoga has long been an integral part of Indian culture. Shrimath is a boutique yoga school located on the outskirts of Bangalore. It is recognised by the Indian Yoga Association (IYA), which is funded by the Indian government; Yoga Alliance International; the World Yoga Federation; and Yoga Alliance International (US).

Krishna Prakash is a life coach, Yogacharya, author, entrepreneur, and the creator of the international residential Yoga school known as Shrimath. He is also a thought leader in the Indic knowledge systems. After working in the wellness industry up until 2010, Krishna became aware of an opportunity to establish a boutique yoga school. His vision for the school was to provide aspirants from all over the world with the opportunity to experience authentic yoga as a system rather than as a collection of postures. Because of this, he decided to start Shrimath in 2011, which is a community that combines ashram-style education with home-cooked meals and a minimalist lifestyle on a 2.5-acre property.

He is also quite enthusiastic about the Indic Knowledge Systems (IKS), which state that the first concept should be 'Vasudaiva Kutumbakam.' This concept asserts that the entire world is a single family, and as a result, tolerance can be re-established. He is very enthusiastic about this concept. It places an emphasis on the concept of freedom of expression and living, as well as the necessity of embarking on a journey of self-mastery in order to acquire a more profound comprehension of one's life's purpose and one's role in it. The second tenet of IKS is that attaining self-mastery is the key to achieving prosperity, tranquilly, and success in all facets of one's life.

Shrimath adheres to the teachings of Adi Sankara regarding Yoga, which hold that Yoga should be performed and regarded as a doorway to Vedanta. In addition to Anatomy and Yogic Psychology, it makes it easier to grasp Yoga as a system by providing information from Veda, Tantra, and Yoga, as well as the Bhagavad Gita. Additionally, it provides skilled teachers, small class numbers (of no more than ten students per class), the opportunity to contribute something back to society, and the chance to follow up on practise. To this day, Shrimath Yoga has been able to satisfy the needs of more than 12,500 clients or seekers and has received great acclaim on a worldwide scale.

In 2013, Shrimath became the first yoga school in the world to be approved by Yoga Alliance International to provide a Certificate course in Yoga Nidra. This distinction was awarded to Shrimath by Yoga Alliance International. According to Krishna, "Traditional Yoga Nidra" should be taught to everyone since it teaches people how to handle the tension that is caused by their thoughts. This can help people have fewer health problems and a deeper understanding of both their personal and professional lives. Not only did Krishna instruct students of the course who came from 43 different countries in the practise of Yoga Nidra, but he also used it in the day-to-day operations of Shrimath. Yoga Nidra is a yogic technique that has been practised for a long time and has been clinically confirmed.

The Yoga School has been honoured with a number of accolades and distinctions, including the Certificate of Excellence award every year since 2014, the Hall of Fame award in 2019, and the Travellers' Choice award in 2020 from the global travel website TripAdvisor.

The pandemic led to the implementation of two new programmes in 2022, which were designed with an eye toward the requirements that the world would have in the next ten years. This year was significant for this reason. A vertical called "Traditional Yoga Nidra," which is a scientific approach to relax, de-stress, and work towards one's aspirations, was hived off from Shrimath and given its own name. and (2) Indic Life Coaching, which focuses on the comprehension and implementation of timeless Indic principles for the purpose of achieving peace, prosperity, and happiness. Shrimath will consequently continue to strive in its endeavour to evolve as an institution that contributes value to the lives of people all over the World under the direction of Krishna Prakash, who is now serving as the organization's head.
