Creativity is limitless and can overcome all obstacles: Anita Chavan

An illustration of this can be seen in the life narrative of Anita Chavan, a Mumbai-based interior designer who is now 54 years old. It's a widely held belief in our culture that once a woman gets married, her priorities will shift to her family and her domestic responsibilities, making it impossible for her to accomplish much. But, Anita disproved this notion and demonstrated that there is no such thing as an impediment for a woman who has already made up her mind about anything.

Anita is a happy person who makes an effort to maintain her positive attitude in all aspects of her life. She was born and raised in a rural community in the Konkan district of Maharashtra. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the institution located in the same town.

Afterwards, I relocated to Bombay to pursue more education and ultimately earned my master's degree from the Institute of Science Churchgate. Nonetheless, she eventually tied the knot. She could have very well been one of the numerous ladies who chooses to sit at home and watch television while doing housework. Yet, her hunger for knowledge overtook her. She studied B.Ed even after her marriage. Simply put, she didn't want to restrict her capabilities for any reason.

After that, she spent the better part of 15 years working as a teacher and coordinator in some of Mumbai's most prestigious secondary and higher secondary schools. She achieved the highest score in the mathematics creative toolbox competition at the regional level. In point of fact, she enjoyed mingling with the pupils quite much. Nonetheless, Anita's head was brimming with creative ideas. Because of this, she decided to pursue a creative path. Thus, she decided to enrol in a professional creative school focused on interior design. She figured out the most original and effective technique to provide her customers' homes and businesses an aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Later on, she went on to create her own business, which is now known as Pratik Interiors, and via it, she has been assisting customers in giving the interiors of their homes and offices a more aesthetically pleasing appearance for the past 18 years.

In the midst of this adventure, Anita was given the gift of two children—a boy and a girl. Both have done well academically and are now established in their careers. Her daughter has a job as an architect and a master's degree in urban design in Canada, while her son has a bachelor's degree in technology and a master's degree in business administration, and he is employed in a reputable company in Mumbai.

But, Anita did not make this her permanent home. She has spread her hands across a number of different fields. In addition to that, she is a meditation instructor and therapist. Through her company, Eternity Meditation, she teaches individuals how to meditate in a variety of different settings, including workshops and seminars.

She is also the founder of an organisation that goes by the name Mitava Foundation and is dedicated to helping those who are less fortunate.

Anita Chavan has been a successful businessperson and, in addition to her other endeavours, she has been actively contributing to the advancement of society. Her work has been acknowledged by a wide variety of organisations and groups, who have presented her with honours and given her opportunities for live interviews. She was honoured as the innovative entrepreneur of the year 2022 at the prestigious Global Asia award ceremony, which took place on a global stage. She led a meditation session for models participating in Taj Events, and as a result, she was given the Mrs. India Golden Heart award.

There is no use in continuing to place blame on others for the fact that you have not been given sufficient opportunity to demonstrate your worth. The world is tremendously large, yet advances in technology have made it possible for everyone to achieve their objectives.

Change, in Anita's view, is the only thing that is truly permanent. On the up-and-down ride that is life, rather than wallowing in melancholy, it is better to meditate, to welcome change, to get better, and to emerge from the ashes like the Phoenix.
